MANUEL CHANTRE (QC-CA)
Sculpture, Video and Bas-reliefs

Manuel Chantre’s piece is a fictionalization of our use of cell phones. The digital pieces in this exhibition have essentially been created from data from a found cell phone. Influenced by his studies in social and cultural anthropology, Manuel Chantre proposes situations that move between cultural codes and an imaginary construction. Monday, March 11, 2013 takes a critical and poetic look at trust through the confidentiality of data stored in cell phones.
