Écosystèmes Numériques is an educational arts project in which students from Marguerite De-Lajemmerais high school collaborate with artists Mickaël Lafontaine and Danny Perreault to create chemical, light and sound ecosystems.

In a setting of scientific research, they use chemistry and sound vibrations to sculpt miniature aquatic and mineral landscapes. Special speakers allow them to reproduce miniature earthquakes from sound waves. A variety of tools are used to analyze the seismic activity of an imaginary planet and create 2D and 3D generative simulations.
